A Dream I Never Gave Up On

My Story

ESTHER & REHO began with a dream I carried long before the business had a name.

Growing up in Haiti, I dreamed of owning my own business from a very young age. I started by buying secondhand clothing and reselling it to friends, church members, and neighbors. Those small beginnings gave me a way to put my dream into practice.

I married at 22 and welcomed my first child two years later. Today, I am a mother of four. I had hoped that this new chapter of my life would bring me closer to building the business I imagined. As my family grew, however, so did my responsibilities, and the journey took longer than I had expected. Even so, I never stopped working toward that dream.

When I moved to the United States, I brought that same determination with me. I continued buying and reselling items to people I knew. Over time, I decided to build on that experience and create ESTHER & REHO.

The name brings together my name, Esther, and my daughter’s name, Rehoboth. It holds a special meaning for me—a connection to family and a reminder of the love and hope behind this business.

I wanted to create something meaningful: a place where I could share my passion for jewelry, clothing, and accessories, and where every customer would feel welcome, valued, and treated with respect.

My faith has guided me along the way. I believe God has given each of us gifts, and building this business is one way I am learning to use mine. I began without having all the answers, and I continue to learn, make improvements, and move forward one step at a time.
